Salty Dog's 15th Birthday
Yes "the dog" is well and truly a teenager! On Thursday 23rd May 1998 we opened our doors, how amazing is that and where has the time gone? It has been a whirlwind of summers and winters, blood sweat and tears, hard graft and in excess of 435,000 customers served during that time and we are immensly proud to say the vast majority of them left very happy! and keep coming back for more.... - Wow !
So to help us celebrate "the dog's" special day, anyone dining on the 23rd May 2013 will get a special little something as part of their meal with our compliments and join us in raising a glass to every member of the Salty Dog Team both past and present who have not just seen their role here as a job but treated the restaurant as their own business. It's down to them that The Salty Dog has been such a hit. Thank you to you all - YOU ARE AMAZING !!!

Jersey Food Festival
18th May - 26th May sees the island celebrate the abundance of fabulous local Genuine Produce with foodie events and activities taking part all over the island. Our contribution will be the introduction of our "Menu du Terroir" featuring a selection of REALLY delicious dishes created especially for this week.
Also forming part of our homage to everything Jersey we are playing MUSIC by local Jersey French pop, folk band The Badlabeques - whose CD is avaialbe to buy at the bar and has a great selection of toe tapping tunes.
So we have covered tastebuds and ears, now, something for the eyes. Images taken by Tony Lee new and upcoming photographer has produced some stunnign images of familiar scenes around the island as you have never seen before. What an amazing distraction, really spectacular and unique images depicting the island in its full glory all of them once again are avaialbe to buy.

Yes the summer is (kind of) on the way and we are preparing a super little menu to entice all you lovely ladies to join us on the weekend for lunch. It will be light on the tummy, light on the pocket and heavily delcious! More details to follow....
